Alain Somvang, aka Indochino, was born in 1973 (somewhere in Asia). His
interest in photography began in 2004 after visiting Cuba. Since then his
passion for photography has never stopped growing.
Indochino is also fond of salsa, he has been actively involved in many
activities to promote Timba in France such as:
- DJ in Paris (France)
- active staff member staff of the first Timba portal in France (www.fiestacubana.net)
In 2006, Indochino decided to combine his 2 passions and started shooting
major salsa-related (especially salsa cubana) events in France. Since mid-2007,
Indochino dedicates full time on photography and releases his photos on
fiestacubana.net.
Indochino's motivation in photography is to "Freeze the artists's soul from
their performance..."
