Christian Tumalán

Christian Tumalán was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. His music career started at the age of 7, when he started acquiring fundamentals of music and live performance. In addition to  studying piano, he was drawn to the art of composition. For seven years, he studied classical piano at the Escuela Superior de la Música in Mexico City. Later, his interest turned to Jazz, where he felt deep compassion and freedom. He further developed his skills in live performance, Jazz and big band arranging.

Tumalán is a recording engineer with a degree in live and studio sound engineering. He does pattern programming and sound design for Native Instruments, Germany, and is a recording engineer for Pulsar Studios in San Francisco.
