New Wave of TIMBA Tours in the U.S. ? It’s November 20, 2009 and just in the last 2 weeks there is an incredible surge of rumors about new TIMBA shows coming to the US. Please help us figure out what is BS and what is real. Clearly there is an anticipated change in the Cuba policy in the Obama administration. |

This is the main Timba.com forum. One thread deals with anything related to how to use the new website. Main features include RADIO TIMBA, the TIMBAPEDIA (best Cuban music wiki) and scalability -we can now provide secure contributor logins so if you want to join TIMBA.com you can do so from anywhere you have an internet connection. Adding text, reports, fotos and videos to TIMBA is super fast and everything can be done from a web browser. Other threads talk about specific aspects and sub-genres of Cuban music. |

Although we feel that in Cuba music and dance are inseparable, we have created a forum where the main topics are related to dance: casino, son, rumba, rueda de casino, and others. When talking about dance it is often necessary to also talk about the music |
