Pavel Díaz, who lists his influences as José "El Greco" Crego and Arturo Sandoval, has been a vital part of the Timba scene since the mid-90's, playing with Bamboleo, Azúcar Negra, Paulito, and now Issac Delgado. In adition to being a great musician, he's very funny and articulate and has provided timba.com with a wealth of information on the history of Timba. He's also a great jazz player and is currently working with Rolando Luna's jazz project as well as touring with Issac.
