After years of sitting in on güiro in his father band, Los Van Van, Julito was recruited for Pupy Pedroso's Los Van Van spinoff, Los Que Son Son. He's a hard-working member of the band who receives little glory, off in the corner of the stage, sweating and sawing through every performance. Julito is an endless source of jokes and humor among the band (even at 6 a.m., when most others on the bus are trying to go to sleep), and it's hard to resist his contagious laugh (even if you can't keep up with the million word-a-minute pace at which he told the joke).
