Rueda Con Ritmo is a dance school and performing group based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We also offer Cuba Dance Study Trips several times per year. We teach Cuban-Style Salsa (also called Casino), which can be danced with a single partner or with a group of couples together in a circle, called a RUEDA.

We understand that timba is fundamentally dance music. That is, while timba (the music) and casino (the dance) can be isolated and studied individually, ultimately they are inseparable parts of the same beautiful whole, united with rhythm - con RITMO.

Please check out our website at and come see us in our classes when you are in the SF Bay Area. We also travel frequently, so be sure to track our special events to see when we'll be coming to a city near you.

Every Friday night in SF and Monday in Oakland, we offer two different hour-long Salsa and Rueda classes. At both hours, four instructors teach four different levels simultaneously – we offer Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 all at once, now in TWO separate rooms. Beginners are welcome in any Level 1 class (offered at both hours every night).

We teach from our Expanded Curriculum, which enables you to advance at your own pace. You can come every week for two hours and pass through all four levels in just seven weeks. Or choose either class and come one hour per week and you can learn the same material in 14 weeks. Or just drop-in whenever you have a free night - check the Curriculum to see when the moves you need are being taught.

Our classes attract a very friendly, talented and diverse group of people, from all backgrounds and of all ages. We hope you will come and be a part of this fun and supportive environment!
