Pan Con Timba - Cuban Music Big Band - Netherlands
Vidal Cruz Conde y su PAN CON TIMBA
This swinging Cuban band includes musicians from many countries but their Music is really “Tipico Cubano“. Five of them are from Cuba. “Their sound is a cross-over and it lies between two different musical genres, the SON, which we know through the Buena Vista Social Club and the TIMBA, the powerful swinging sound which evolved from the Cuban RUMBA. The Timba was born at the end of the 80’s during the economic blockade by the United States of America under the new generation of Cuban musicians. This genre became famous by, among others, Juan Formell and Los Van Van (from the Songo to the Timba) and Paulito FG.
Vidal Cruz Conde is the founder of this formation. From the bar Monserat in Havana Cuba he brought his musical knowledge and singing talent with him. As no other he can capture the public’s interest with his irresistible improvisations. With him the dance floor is guaranteed to be

The 11 members of the band have found a new challenge in this group and that is to introduce the Timba sound in the Netherlands and the surrounding countries. The reason being that mostly the groups play Cuban traditional music. But, besides the Timba they will also play a beautiful Bolero for you.
