Cuba based rap duo, Zona Franka, blends traditional rhythms with the grit and swagger of hip-hop and rap vocal phrasings. Their clever shout choruses create instant tropical dance classics using their unique self-titled "changui con flow" style.

José "Pepito" Gómez and his band at times mesmerized the crowd and at times filled the dance floor at Yoshi's in Oakland, CA on 11/10/2009 with his traditional music project. What follows are some photos from the sound check and concert. I plan to put up a few videos of some of the songs soon.
