Cuba based rap duo, Zona Franka, blends traditional rhythms with the grit and swagger of hip-hop and rap vocal phrasings. Their clever shout choruses create instant tropical dance classics using their unique self-titled "changui con flow" style.

SpanishEnglishTrayecto - (Ahí Nama) Released 2014

CD/DVD Review: Trayecto by Alaín Daniel (Ahí Namá  to be released?)
Review by Bill Tilford, all rights reserved

Although this was nominated for a Cubadisco 2015 in the category of Música Popular Bailable (New Artists), we have not seen this out on the market yet.  A single from the album, Una canita al aire, has been released in Cuba.

This album is a potpourri - Timba, Reggaeton, Nueva Trova, Salsa Cubana,   a little bit of Reggae and a little North American style Salsa.  The liner notes that were available  left the musicians largely anonymous.  Like most albums of this type, it has something for everyone to like and to dislike, but some of the Timba selections sound quite good.  There is some very nice work by an unnamed electric guitarist throughout the recording.  Mr. Daniel has collaborated with Buena Fe, Descemer Bueno, Buena Fe and others, so I don't doubt that he had access to some interesting names for this project.

If and when this album is officially released, look for it.
This is a live concert version of Alain Daniel and Descemer Bueno in one of the songs from the album, Lloro por tí.
