Cuba based rap duo, Zona Franka, blends traditional rhythms with the grit and swagger of hip-hop and rap vocal phrasings. Their clever shout choruses create instant tropical dance classics using their unique self-titled "changui con flow" style.

Daymé Arocena and her group, all living in Cuba, consists of Daymé on vocals and small percussion, Jorge Luis Lazarga on piano and Rafael Aldama on bass.  This young trio, all in their 20's, performed at The New Parish in Oakland California on April 3, 2016, played music which was an organic mixture of Afro-Cuban folkloric music, soul, salsa and jazz.
