Calixto Oviedo @ Berklee Percussion Festival

Master Percussionist Calixto Oviedo will be back in Boston June 18-20 for the Berklee Percussion Festival. Calixto will be teaching Masters Classes as well as performing in a concert. This is an invaluable opportunity to learn directly from one of Cuba's most important modern percussionists! You can apply now on-line to attend the workshops.
If you're not able to attend the Berklee classes, check out the Beyond Salsa Percussion series. In this series Calixto teaches drums and timbales, both basic patterns and timba gears. You can choose from books, videos and audio files.

Charanga Habanera Coming to Yoshi's SF
So far, the only dates scheduled for the Charanga Habanera tour are Monday and Tuesday, April 9th and 10th at Yoshi's SF, and Friday, March 30th in Louisville, KY, but shows in other cities are being arranged we'll update the tours page when LA, NY and Miami shows are confirmed.
Due to popular demand, Yoshi's is selling a special "all-night" ticket, enabling you to go to both shows for a reduced price. See you there!
