The Concert Report

It has been nearly a week since the big concert by Buena Fe February 22nd at Miami-Dade County Auditorium, and I have now posted my concert report which I was able to complete thanks to the cooperation of friend and fellow Buena Fe fan Líen Álvarez and Javier Otero of Blue Night Entertainment . Since we had such a build-up to the Karl Marx concerts, I start this report with a bit of a summary of the events n Miami beginning with the arrival of Israel and Yoel on February 18th and including their television appearences prior to the concert. Elito Revé y su Charangón in Europe
Tour Begins March 8
Timba fans, La Aplanadora de Cuba will be rolling through Europe again in just about ten days! They are touring for three weeks and will be in Italy, France, Spain and Germany. Click here to find a concert near you. In my opinion, El Charangón is the most hardcore timba band today! Check out Susel and tell me if I'm right. Todo lo que sube tiene que caer!

Maykel Blanco is also in Europe again continuing his solo promotional tour for the new CD "A toda máquina" in preperation for the summer tour with the entire band. Cuba Dance Trips 2013-2014
Rumba class with Mi Salsa Cubana in Havana
Mi Salsa Cubana has published the dates of their Cuba dance trips for 2013 and 2014.
2013: 23-24 of March to 6-7 of April, 5-6 October to 19-20 October, 28-29 of December 2013 to 4- 5 of January 2014 (half price 1 week)
2014: 4-5 of January to18-19 of January, 12-13 of April to 26-27 of April
There are classes for all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced as well as for singles, guys, girls, ladies, men and couples. All participants get a Cuban dance partner. The 14 days intensive dance program offers classes in Salsa, Son, Rueda de Casino, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, and Rumba. It is also possible for participants to extend their stay.
