Part of Stern Grove Free Concert Series this summer included a group composed of Cuban and Malian musicians.  This project was originally conceived around the time the Bunea Vista SocialClub emerged (mid-1990ás), in fact Buena Vista Social Club replaced the Afro-Cubism project because the African musicians had visa problems.  Now some 15 years or so later, AFro-Cubism became a reality.

Master musicians from Cuba and Mali put on an extremely enjoyable set of music.
